However, these skills alone don’t guarantee great leadership.
This book offers a comprehensive guide to leadership techniques, covering essential qualities and skills in a simple, easy-to-read format. It’s a must-read for anyone looking to improve their leadership abilities and become more effective. As you read, you’ll realize that many of these concepts are familiar, but we often need a reminder to put them into action.
The Teachings of Jesus
There is very much written about what Jesus says throughout the New Testament. So I captured some of the key topics and expounded on what Jesus specifically has to say. Some of my personal thoughts and experiences are interwoven into the topical stories that concerned me and have an impact on my life. The list of topics seems endless, but I’ve carefully chosen the most common questions and themes that people ask about. From my perspective, simplicity equals transparency. “I’m not moved by what I see, but I am moved by what is in the hearts and minds of people,” I think. Consequently, I’ve chosen to simplify the message without diving too deep. While quoting scriptures, I’ve used the NIV version of the Bible, unless otherwise noted differently.
The Truth About Marijuana
Let’s be honest—people are misled about the genuine use of marijuana for medicinal use. There was a point and time where our society used to believe that cigarettes were safe and harmless, and some of the tobacco industry led us to believe it was healthy for us to smoke. Sounds familiar with marijuana today? Many years ago, people would sell bottles of drinks that were supposed to cure everything, better known as snake oil. Today we are faced with the twenty-first century “snake oil” that proponents want you to believe that marijuana cures everything from minor pains to cancer. Snake oil never lives up to the sellers’ hype.
The great news is that most of our youth do not use marijuana; that in itself is refreshing
Jesus Said
There is very much written about what Jesus said throughout the New Testament. So I captured some of the key verses and expounded my personal thoughts and experiences on the ones that concerned me and have an impact on my life. One of the most valuable verses is Psalms 138:8 that reads, “The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands” (NKJ).
God’s confidence will not go away as long as we remain confident in him. The amount of good that we have in our lives comes from God working his will in us. In due time, he will cause our transformation to grow through his supernatural favor. My intention is to stimulate our thought process to help us recognize God’s presence in every aspect of our life, even when we are asleep.
